Sébastien Valeyre

Sébastien is the founder of the company. Prior to that he was one of the partners at John Locke Investments. In 2010 he launched a pure statistical arbitrage fund, the John Locke Equity Market Neutral Fund, which was one of the very successful funds in its category. Sébastien was the fund manager of the fund and was also head of research. Thanks to his ideas, the Cyril Systematic Fund’s (a CTA fund) performance has also been improved significantly. Prior to that he was head of research at BPHI Capital which used both fundamental and quantitative analysis to determine the portfolios. Before that Sébastien worked for the Autorité de Sureté Nucléaire and the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique.

Sébastien holds a PhD degree in Economics from the Sorbonne Paris Cite University, a Master of Science in Finance from Dauphine University, a Master of Science from Imperial College, and a Master of Science in Physics from Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles de Paris (ESPCI).
